I stopped telling when I arrived to Ensenada (city in the south of Tijuana) and I settled in the house of my friend Jake. The first pictures belonged to the family of northern San Diego, a city which did not return until the last day was the return flight.
El 25 de diciembre fue un día realmente largo y excepcional, comida y cena de navidad con gentes distintas, americanos y mexicanos. Cuando obtenga las fotos de ellos las publicaré en posteriores escritos.
25 of Dicember was a really long and exceptional day with the Christmas meal and dinner with different people, Americans and Mexicans. When I will get pictures of them I will publish in the later writings.
La acogida que tuve fue estupenda, mucha conversación, canciones, bailes, aguardiente (tequila para otros días) y buena comida. Por el día visitamos los sitios más pintorescos o la playa si nos levantabamos tarde y por las noches nos juntabamos con varias familias en una fogata para cenar juntos y charlar.
The welcome I had been was great, lots of conversation, songs, dancing, Aguardiente (tequila for other days) and good food. On the day we visited the most scenic places or the beach if we got up late and at night we got together with several families in a fire for dinner together and talk.
Aprendí mucho esos días de la cocina mexicana: tacos de carne, con huevo, con frijoles, con mole o con pescado y ensalada; enchiladas (taco doblado y frito con masa de patata), tamales (masa de maiz rellena con carne), ceviche (tostada de maíz con una mezcla de un pescado con vegetales) y para beber cualquier tipo de jugo (zumo de varias frutas).
In these days I learnt much about mexican food: tacos of meat, eggs, dark beens, mole or fish with salad; enchiladas (fried taco turned with potatoe mash), tamales (corn mass with meat inside), ceviche (corn toast with a mix of a fish and vegetables) and for drinking any juice (juice of various fruits).
La bufadora: pequeña entrada del mar que con el tiempo ha formado un especie de tubo fino por donde entran las olas y sale mucha agua expulsada hacia arriba, alcanzando más de diez metros. Lugar muy turístico con impresionantes vistas. Después nos desplazamos al otro lado de la montaña donde la carretera quedaba cortada y andando llegamos al borde, zona preciosa llena de paz donde únicamente se encontraban un par de pescadores en varios kilómetros.
The bufadora: small entrance of the sea that eventually formed a kind of thin tube where waves entered and the water go out, reaching more than 30 feets (ten meters). Turistic place with amazing views. After we went to the other side of the mountain where the road cut off and we walked to the edge, beautiful and peaceful area where only a couple of fishermen found in some kilometers.
Viñedos de L.A. Cetto: a menos de una hora en coche (camino semiasfaltado) la zona de viñedos, ya que el clima es muy similar al de California y al mediterráneo, aunque algo más calido en invierno; existen varios viñedos y algunos olivos. Ruta guiada por el viñedo más importante de la región y cata de varios de sus mejores vinos.
Viñedos de L.A. Cetto: less than an hour by car (half paved road) the area of vineyards, as the clima is very similar than California and Mediterranean, althoug warmer in winter; it exists vineyards and olive trees. Guided tour for the most important vineyard of the region and tasting several of the best wines.
El mirador: vecindario de casas elegantes en la parte más alta de la ciudad donde se encuentra el mejor punto de vista de toda la ciudad.
El mirador: funzy neighbourhood in the hightest part of the city where there is the best place to view the whole city.
Dias de surf: dos de los días de playa agarramos el pickup y nos quedabamos en la playa más centrica. El agua estaba bastante fría para permanecer sin moverse, pero con el traje era posible surfear un rato, aunque a decir verdad las olas no son como las películas. Si tome un par cada día, nada mal para un novato.
Surf days: two of the beach days that we took the truck and we were in center beach of the city. The water was enough cold to keep without motion, but with the special swimsuit was possible surfing for a while, however in fact waves was not like movies. I took a couple each day, not bad for a newb.
Las aguas termales del rancho de san carlos: un camino escondido, sólo conocido por la gente del lugar, se encuentran unas albercas de agua termales volcánicas, relajantes, con azufre, otros minerales y a una temperatura relamente caliente. No tengo fotos porque fuimos de noche.
The thermal water of rancho de san carlos: a hidden way, only known to locals, there are volcanic thermal water in some pools, relaxing, with sulfur, other minerals and really hot temperatures. I don't have pictures because we went at night.

que guay tio,me tienes que llevar a mi de vuelta x ahi tambien,la foto con la tabla de surf queda brutal.am,ademas con estos post voy aprendiendo algo mas de ingles..jeje.un saludete tio y sigue disfrutando como tu saves.
